Rita Mumm, The University of Illinois

Dr. Rita Mumm is an Associate Professor of Quantitative Genetics and Plant Breeding at the University of Illinois, and a former director of The Illinois Plant Breeding Center. In this video, she discusses the role of the Plant Breeding Center in training plant breeders in Africa. Dr. Mumm conducts research on plant breeder education in Africa for the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Soybean Value Chain Research.
